Black and white mangas use “scribbles” for blushing, but for a full-colour comic, you’re better off using a solid shape… and maybe leaning more towards the “light pink” hue than “light red”
Dang, Berg.
It’s a good thing you said you didn’t expect people who read your other comics to like this one.
As someone who has been accused of spending too much time on my computer, I can relate somewhat to this strip.
As someone who cares about my family (especially the children), this is disturbing me quite a bit.
I’m hoping it improves.
Abuse and neglect are disturbing things to see, but we can’t deal with these issues as a society by pretending they don’t exist… or by willful ignorance, not being able to recognize them when we see really them.
This sort of medium, a humor comic where the only people harmed are fictional collections of pixels, is one of the best ways to keep that awareness in front of mind.
It’s absolutely not “promoting neglect and abuse”, it’s literally doing the opposite, and reminding us what that looks like.
While a few of the strips made me uncomfortable, they (and the over-all strip) are still good.
Looks like you’re going to address the secret world of teen and preteen electronic mayhem (and how it leads/led to parental neglect).
Unless I am seriously mistaken, such predictions were also made with the TV, radio, and other electric/electronic devices through the ages.
Unfortunately, each device has come closer to making the predictions come true.

You have proven you can run good stories (2×3).

Lena, my advice; put yourself in a basket and leave yourself on Mark’s doorstep.
I’m willing to bet that it wasn’t Mama!

I have a guess on her first word:
