Well, (s)he hasn’t seen Lena putting the phone away yet. So it’s obviously still there.
… and I can’t think of any other reason to prop up a book like this in the first place.
Here’s a theory: Lena very often is using her phone in class. She has the same body language, built by long habit, even though she’s not using it, ergo she looks suspicious.
Either that, or she’s completely stupid, or just loves to put Lena in detention all the time.
Seriously, she needs to chill sometimes.
