I feel so sorry for this kid. Her parents are awful. I know it’s a comic, but nothing seems to go right for her.
Sad but true. Maybe someday, she’ll score a win… Maybe.
Observe the series carefully; they are ALL awful people, Lena most definitely included. Even the most loving, Grandma… is frankly a little creepy.
Serves them right for not giving her a treat.
Trick or treat is like a binding contract. They don’t give a treat, they receive a trick.
But who’s the unlucky trick recipient? I have a feeling Lena’s going to be made to clean up her own mess.
As an unofficial rule, never trick or treat at your own house until the end of the night, just in case this happens.
